Alexandra Schell wins a gold medal in the 48 Kg weight class at the USports National Wrestling Championships.

Kiera Prior - Gold

Kiera Prior wins a gold medal in the 82 Kg weight class at the USports National Wrestling Championships.

Logan Sloan - Gold

Logan Sloan wins a gold medal in the 54 Kg weight class at the USports National Wrestling Championships.

Berit Johnson - Silver

Berit Johnson wins a silver medal in the 72 Kg weight class at the USports National Wrestling Championships.

Hunter Lee - Silver

Hunter Lee wins a silver medal in the 90 Kg weight class at the USports National Wrestling Championships.

Logan Sloan - Male Rookie

Logan Sloan not only won a gold medal but he was also selected the USports Male Rookie of the Year.

Dan Olver - Coaching Award

Dan Olver was selected USports Women’s Coach of the Year.

Saskatoon Wrestling Community Mourns...

(Shane Johnson passes away.)

The Saskatoon Wrestling Club is hurting as Shane Johnson lost his battle with cancer at the tender age of 28. Shane had a gentle soul and a disarming smile making him very approachable and a friend to all. He was an avid wrestler who was respected by all who knew him. Rest in peace Shane, you will be missed.

Saskatoon Wrestling Club

The Saskatoon Wrestling Club (SWC) provides amateur wrestling programs for male and female athletes of all ages in Saskatoon. The Club consists of three main divisions:

The U of S Huskies
The Junior Huskies
The Pups

The SWC is a non-profit organization of individuals who are interested in promoting the sport of wrestling in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Canada. The club executive is largely made up of coaches and former athletes who grew-up with the sport, and are directly involved with the programs.

This program is geared towards elementary school age children. These wrestlers will compete locally and provincially.
